The Slovenian Downhill Cup will take place from June to September this year. This is the fourth season under the name of the Slovenian quality chocolate brand.
The calendar for the Slovenian national series in the mountain biking discipline of downhill for 2026 season is here. Four familiar locations are returning, and the series will conclude on a new track with new organizers. In June and July, there will be intense racing every other weekend, followed by a summer break in August and the finals in September.
The main sponsor of the Slovenian Downhill Cup remains the Slovenian brand of high-quality chocolate 20chocolate, while the media partner is mtb.si.

Koroška, Štajerska, Gorenjska, and Dolenjska Regions
The race at Bike Park Poseka, a small but friendly park with a ski lift in Ravne na Koroškem, was held for the first time last year and received an excellent response. This year, it opens the series on June 14. Just two weeks later, the racing continues at Bike Park Pohorje Maribor with what is usually the toughest race of the season on the World Cup track. The first race in July will bring riders back to Soriška planina, and on the last Sunday in July, they will be competing for national championship titles as well as points for the cup standings at Bike Park Kranjska Gora. In mid-September, there will be a new event: the Pank Kura team from Dolenjske Toplice will hold the first DH Sotejska on a new track above Soteska to conclude the series.
International Races in Slovenia in 2026
The Slovenian downhill calendar will also be spiced up by two international races coming to Slovenian dirt. Hopefully with a strong Slovenian representation.

Increase in Participation
The number of riders in individual races varies depending on the conditions, date, and participation of international competitors, especially in joint races with the Austrian Cup. In the 2025 season, 451 different riders took part in six races and one promotional event, which is less than the previous year, when the Slovenian and Austrian Cups had two joint races, but at the same time, this is 156 competitors more than in the 2023 season.
Last year, 198 Slovenian riders with licenses from the Slovenian Cycling competed in the downhill, 37 more than the previous year. The largest increase was among U17 men, from 38 to 51 competitors.
